Why did you decide to do an apprenticeship?

I decided to do an apprenticeship as I wanted to earn whilst being able to gain some experience at the same time.

What can you do now that you couldn’t do before the apprenticeship?

I can now confidently speak to customers on the phone and process purchase orders.

What have been the highlights?

My highlights have been everything here as I’ve learnt a lot, however, I would say having an important responsibility in my job role has been one of my highlights as I manage the sales email address.

How has the apprenticeship changed things for you?

It has helped me figure out what I would like to do in the future and how I can use my experience going forward.

Has the apprenticeship met your expectations?

Yes, I believe I have learnt more than expected.

Has it impacted the business you work for?

Yes, as It has organised everyone’s job role and with my project, it has put in place a return process that works, and we can keep on top of.

We have been very pleased with the whole apprenticeship process and how it has been managed by Absolute Works. This is Galleon Supplies first involvement with apprenticeships and Liarna has conducted herself in a mature and professional manner. Liarna did struggle with the OTJT and the amount required but once we overcame this the apprenticeship program has been thorough, informative and helped Liarna build the necessary skills to embark upon a full time office/business position.

As an employer we would be receptive to look at apprenticeships again in the future.
