The Mental Health Foundation started Mental Health Awareness Week 21 years ago who continue to set the theme, organise and host the week. It’s  an opportunity for the whole of the UK to focus on achieving good mental health and has grown to become one of the biggest awareness weeks across the UK and globally.

Mental Health Awareness Week is happening between 9 to 15 May 2022. The official theme is ‘loneliness’ and, across the week, MIND will be encouraging people to build meaningful connections with your friends, family, colleagues and communities.

Here are some resources which you may want to look at so that you can get involved. Of course although Mental Health Awareness Week only happens once a year this should be top of the agenda all year round for any employer especially as we adjust to post-pandemic world.
