Earlier this year the third annual Coventry & Warwickshire Sports Awards was launched. This event, organised by Champions (UK) and supported by the Coventry Telegraph recognises and celebrates the achievements of sports clubs, teams and individuals from across the region.

Tonight is the Sports Awards Dinner and it offers the opportunity for people to get together to celebrate all that is great in sport including athletes of all ages, disabled and non-disabled, sportspeople, amateurs and professional teams, clubs and volunteers.

The team at Kenilworth based Absolute Works were delighted to be able to sponsor the Junior Sportsperson of the Year and are very much looking forward to congratulating the winner.

Joy May of Absolute Works said: “We are honoured to lend our support to the third Coventry and Warwickshire Sports Awards. It is the aim of our business to help small and medium sized businesses maximise the performance of their employees, so, when we look at those who succeed in sport, it is no surprise to us that they often share many of the qualities we seek to promote through our work.

By celebrating the achievements of junior sportspeople we hope to further endorse those qualities and inspire people to copy their tenacity, commitment, teamwork and motivation and put it to use in everything they do.”

We will let you know later in the week the name the worthy winner of our Award and hopefully we will have pictures too.
